A FEW MORE THINGS OBSERVED THIS WEEK

WELL, I KNOW I SAID I WAS GOING TO TRY TO STAY AWAY FROM POLITICAL THINGS
but I feel to make these two comments.
1. I just read a news article that I agree with. Now, regardless of your view of Christine Blasey Ford, there are many who feel that she had an agenda and that agenda was not truthful. However, she is being touted this week with being chosen to give an award to someone who came forward and reported the abuse in the Olympic Scandal.  Many feel that using Christine Ford for this takes away from those who have actually been sexually abused. Ms. Ford claims she doesn't want the spotlight or money, yet she is in the spotlight and has acquired around $800,000 in go fund me funds since she claimed assault 35 or 36 or 37 years ago. What makes her story so questionable for many is her lack of actual information and the contradiction of people who she said would back her up and then they could not.  If she was assaulted as she claimed, then she needs to be taken seriously. But until she can prove she was, she should not be touted in the manner she is and take away the spotlight on this serious problem in our society and those who were assaulted. And sorry, I did not intend this to be such a long paragraph.
2. A young girl, 7 years old died a few days ago in an El Paso hospital. I feel for her family. However, they were entering the U.S. illegally and were apprehended by the Border Patrol in a remote and desolate pate of the United States. She had not eaten or had any thing to drink for several days prior to that. She got sick while the Border Patrol were transporting her and her family from the point they entered the U.S. to the Southern Border Station in Lordsburg, New Mexico and then she was flown to the afore mentioned hospital, where she died a day later. Now, that is tragic and I am not trying to indicate any thing otherwise. However, the enemies of President Trump are blaming him for this. No, they were coming here illegally. She had not eaten or had any thing to drink for days, not the few minutes she was in custody of the border patrol between Antelope Wells and Lordsburg.  She was not put in a detention center as one California politician has indicated. While you may not like Trumps policies, really they haven't changed that much since the time of Clinton in the 90's, or even prior to that.  Yes, Trump tweets a lot and says a lot and carries on a lot, but the policies are still long standing and I am aware, living where I do, of people being caught, jailed and eventually deported, splitting up families long before Trump even ran for the Presidency.  OK  Nuff said.
3. When did these unsightly blowups become the norm for Christmas decorating? Will they go away or will it just get worse?
4. We have had a lot of cloudy days the last several months. I like it cloud up and rain, or snow. But if it isn't going to do those things, then just let the sun shine and keep these old bones warm.
5. Recently on social media, Ford announced a feature on their F series pickups. This sparked a lot of trash talk among said media users about Ford vs. Dodge vs. Chevy with each individual building up their choice and trash talking the other two. I will say this. When the economy meltdown happened in 2008-2010 and the government offered the big three, namely Ford, Chrysler and General Motors a bail out, General Motors and Chrysler took it. Ford chose not to. The backed up and regrouped, as it were, eventually eliminating some of the small vehicles that the public were not buying and retooling their plants to produce the F series pickups and their SUV's. They still produce some sedans, but on a limited scale. Chrysler eventually followed suit and they are picking up sales and have paid off the bail out to the government. General Motors chose to stay with their sedans and they went down. I am not sure of their bail out pay off, but now they have Seen The Light, as it were, and are closing some of their plants that produce the small cars and laying people off and trying to regroup. Too little Too Late, or a wise move on their part.  Time will tell.  Meanwhile, I'll stay with my Fords.
That being said, I was raised on General Motors products, have driven Chrysler and Ford Products all my married life and I know one thing for certain.  At some point in time, they will all break down on you at the most inopportune time.

SOME RECENT OBVERSATIONS

HERE IS A SHORT LIST OF SOME RECENT OBSERVATIONS.

They aren't any thing new, just something to put in a post that has nothing to do with politics.  Well, i think it will go that way.
1. How you can tell it is Christmas time.  The ads on TV or advertising the Chia Pets and the Clapper.
2. While walking to the post office in my little town I saw a man hole cover by the side walk. On the cover it said   "Sanitary Sewer".  Well, OK, I thought. If there was ever a case of false advertising that would be it.  Kinda like a garbage dump being called a sanitary landfill.  Just don't compute.
3. After going on 6 decades of marriage I realize that there are a few things that my wife and I just don't agree on.  And I am OK with that, since they are, in the overall scheme of things, things of no great importance any way.
4. Regardless of the turmoil in the world, birds still tweet and dogs still love their owners and they are not concerned with what any one thinks.

ELECTIONS ARE OVER

ELECTIONS ARE OVER; RESULTS ARE KNOWN;THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE;IS CLEARLY SHOWN.
That is the opening lines of a poem that was popular when I was a teenager back in the 1950's. I can remember most of it but am not going to quote it here. What's troubling is that the will of the people is not clearly shown every where.  Why after more than a week are some places still counting votes. Or contesting the final count. And Broward County in Florida seems to have this problem every election.  And folks I am scared.

I have toyed with the possibility of no longer posting on political things. Then I seem to do it any way. So why, you ask, am I scared.  Before I tell you why, I want to say up front. I am a republican.
In this, and in every election since I was old enough to vote, I have voted for Democrats that I thought were the better candidate.
So having said that, I am scared because of some of the Democrats that got elected. They have publicly stated their views and they are not good. They want to take this democracy and turn it into a socialist country. The problem with socialism is that pretty soon you run out of other peoples money. The first thing the Republican candidate for governor in our State wanted to do was start apprentice ship programs in our schools for those who want a trade rather than go to college. Create jobs and put people to work. The first thing the Democratic candidate said was that she wanted to dip into the States permanent fund ( which is set up for schools only) and use it to build infrastructure and fund programs. She won. And the next day the first ting she said was that she wants to create laws for stricter gun control. The next thing was to raise taxes. I fear for January and what she will try to do.   But that is the least of my worries. There are so many individuals elected this time that are going to congress that have some radical views of what they want done that I am glad I am an old man. I just fear for my children and grandchildren and the country they will be living in. I fear that they will wake up to late to realize the freedoms they are going to lose.
I have said before and will state here again. Trump was not my choice for President. But I voted for him over Hillary and given that choice in 2020 I will vote for him again. Other than that, I will wait and see who is running before deciding. Meanwhile,  I wish he would just stay quiet and go about being President.  While he stated what needed to be done with the forests in California was correct, a statement I have made before myself, I feel that, that was not the time to say so, as those people who have lost every thing, including family members, need not be castigated for something that was caused by the government under environmental rules.
Now I have a question.  When did the political party's become RED and BLUE. And why? And what color are the Independents and the Liberal party members? Just wondering while I sit here on the ditch bank chewing on a straw and contemplating the State of the Nation.

SERIOUSLY

SERIOUSLY:  LETS GET REAL FOR A MOMENT. I HAVE JUST A FEW ITEMS TO POST ABOUT THIS MORNING, SO I'LL GET ON WITH IT AND THEN GO DO SOMETHING CONSTRUCTIVE.
I realize that the national news people are very anti Trump. They try not to show it in the news casts, but it comes through any way, so lets look at a couple of things. In a rally President Trump said, and I quote, Next year we will put in a tax cut for the middle class. This morning the today show said, and I quote, President Trump said he would put in a tax cut for the middle class before the mid term elections, but he can't because congress is not even is session. Will a tax cut for the middle class be put into effect? I don't know. Maybe and maybe not, but at least report what he said.
There is a horde of people marching from Honduras to the United States.  At least that is what is being reported by the media. And they show pictures of them marching and packing children and "all" their belongings. What they don't show is all those people riding on 18 wheeler trailers. They did include a short bite of news about one person who died when they fell from a trailer. They didn't go into detail on that though. One has to wonder how this many people got together at this time to march to the United States, why do they seem to have clean clothes every day, where did they get the money to fund this march of days and weeks, since they do need food and water. Today it was reported that they will rest a day and then march to another city in Mexico where they will board a train for Tijuana on the California state line. How did they get reservations for the train for over 7000 people and where did they get the money to pay for the tickets? Or are they just going to hijack the train? If they really want to seek asylum in the United States, why are they flying the flag from there old country. Seems like that many people, that well organized, could march on their own government and demand change. Having said all that, I feel sorry for the children that are going through this.
And finally. Really people. Watching a TV shopping channel this morning, they were selling a blanket that you can get up and wear as a coat since it has a hoody on it. Guess you can wear it in cold weather with the pajamas you wear to wal-mart. I fear for the world when people can't get up and clean up before going out in public.

I'M STILL TRYING

I'M STILL TRYING TO GET AWAY FROM POLITICAL POSTS. TODAY I JUST MIGHT MAKE IT. Naw, probably not,but let's see what comes out of this computer keyboard.
There has been much in the news the last few weeks or more on the political scene. The one that dominated it was the Kavanaugh supreme hearings and well, you know the rest. I have a definitive opinion on a lot of that but will refrain from getting into that as the deal is over and settled. For now.
President Trump is making a political swing through parts of the country and making his usual brash comments. He was not my President of choice, but I preferred him over Hillary. Still do. But I so wish that he would just go about being President and keep his mouth and twitter shut. I think things would go much better.
Speaking of Hillary. Did you see her comments on the Me Too Movement. She thinks that the accusations against Kavanaugh were legitimate even though the proof was skimpy as best and controversial. But the accusations against Bill raping a woman, where evidence was in place and many people know about it almost immediately was different. Her claims are ridiculous but they were and are being ignored and Bill and her are starting on a speaking tour where people are ask to pay several hundred of dollars to listen to their vitriol. I wouldn't go to one of their speeches if you paid me several hundred dollars.  Those two people are evil along with many of their associates.  I know many will disagree with me, but this is my post and my opinion.
My wife and I voted yesterday. We voted early for reasons which I will not mention here. OK I will. We just wanted to and we could. Many people call for term limits on our members in congress. I agree. But there are term limits in a way. They were not hired for a permanent job. If you don't like them, vote them out. That would limit their term. Unfortunately, too many people like them and voting them out is often difficult, so term limits would be the way to go. Also unfortunately, they are the ones to put this into motion and they are not going to limit their selves to term limits.
I hate to think that there is people here in our state that is against the states economy. But there is and they are running for office. I try to look at all things that people stand for and vote accordingly. Yesterday, when I voted i did not vote a straight ticket.  I did vote for a few members of what I will call the opposing party. People that I thought were doing a good job or that would do a good job. After the election we will see who sins and if we, the people, lose.
I don't care what your politics are, or which party you affiliate with, please get out and vote. Your vote counts. But when you do go vote, please study the candidates and what they stand for. Mainly, but not limited to, do they support the constitution and all amendments. Unfortunately, there are many across the country that not only want to abolish the 1st or 2nd amendment, but want to abolish the entire constitution. The movement is there, small right now but growing. Pay attention to that and the candidates who support that theory. If enough of them get elected, we will be in big trouble.
Well, enough for now. Have a good election year and get out and vote. And THAT'S THE VIEW FROM THE DITCH BANK

THE NEWS AND ONLY THE NEWS

THIS IS NOT A POST ABOUT THE NEWS, BUT WHAT HAS BEEN REPORTED ON THE NEWS.  For any one who reads this post and whether you know me or not, I watch the news. Almost daily. Night and morning.  Mostly I watch NBC news, but sometimes one of the other networks. This post is going to be political in nature, but it will deal only with what has been reported on the afore mentioned news casts. One disclaimer. Some of the things I will post were aired on another news cast, but the item was aired never the less.  There is much said on social media about a lot of things going on in politics now a days and while I read some of it, mostly I am disgusted by the crassness of those posting these items, regardless of which "side" of the fence they are on. I will post facts as reported on the news and then occasionally offer a personal opinion.  Hang on, but give it some thought, even if you happen to agree with me.  If you want to dispute my facts, please do so with facts. If you have a differing opinion, please feel free to offer it as an opinion. That having been said, hang on. Here goes.

There are two people running for governor for the State of New Mexico.  Both of them currently serve as representatives in Congress for the State. One Republican and one Democrat. The Republican, Steve Pearce, started the campaign season telling what he would do to run the State. Do things for the schools. Let teachers teach and put some responsibility on parents. Create scholarships for those that are not inclined to attend college. Train them to function in the real world and help them get a job and off of welfare.  He also supports the 1st and 2nd amendment to the constitution, which is a plus for me.  His opponent, Michelle Lujan Grisham, started her campaign by attacking Mr. Pearce and creating slanderous ads against him. When she finally got around to telling the people what she would do, she said she would use the State Permanent fund to create jobs, improve schools, fix the infra structure, and one other thing I forgot now what was.  Sounds good, I guess, but I went to the permanent fund to see just what it said. Guess what. She can't do that. The permanent fund is a school tax on attractive items, namely oil and gas and some mining. This is ear marked for the schools. Period. And the fund, which currently is flush with over a few Billion dollars, can be tapped, by State law, to the tune of only 4.7% a year, up to 7% a year for the schools.  This amounts to just under a billion dollars a year for schools. It is invested wisely by a firm that does that kind of thing and the money given to the school systems for their use.
Now, both candidates are engaged in mud slinging and it is getting nasty, unfortunately. One last item of interest. During the primary election the Lieutenant Governor and the Governor are elected independently of each other, then they are elected together in the general election. Mrs. Grisham is against the 2nd amendment and wants to take our guns and votes for gun control legislation. Her Lieutenant Governor, Howie Morales, supports the 2nd amendment. If they get elected, wonder how this will play out in the State House.
The two people, both women, running to take the above mentioned representative seats are engaged in a mud slinging contest and we have no idea which one of them to dislike the most. Wish we had another choice.

TRUMP SUPPORTERS:  During the last Presidential election, Hillary called those who supported Trump as deplorables. Recently it was reported (on social media) that Joe Biden stated that Trump supporters were the dregs of society. Since I didn't see that news report, I looked it up. He didn't exactly say it that way. In the speech he made, he actually said that "Many of those who support Trump were the dregs of society". Way to go Joe. Glad you are so high and mighty that you can look down on a segment of society and name them according to your standard. On the flip side, Trump has engaged in similar name calling and that in no way improves his standing for many.
Again social medial reported that John Kerry, former secretary of state, was dealing with Iran behind the back of the United States. Again, I didn't see this on the news, so I looked it up.  Yep, he did and he is. He stated in a news interview that he "quote" went to Iran and told the president of Iran to just hang on until 2020 and then a Democrat would be elected President and then the U.S. would deal with him again.  Well, John, be that as it may, you are no longer secretary and have no standing to negotiate any thing for the U.S.  Just back off and let the current administration work and quit going behind the back of the current secretary and those who do these kind of things.

And finally, during the 8 years Obama was president, the GNP never rose above 4 % and the unemployment never got under 4% and he stated that it never would.  In the less than two years since he has been out of office, both of those things have happened and U.S. companies are adding jobs every month. Obama said in a speech he made somewhere over seas that this improved economy was due to the policy's he put in place.  If that is true, why did it never happen while you were in office? And why did you say it never would.
Let's see what can be done about all the environmental rules that have been forced into place and forced companies over seas and start opening the fabric and steel mills again and once again enjoy U.S. made. It is possible to protect the environment and open these businesses and put people to work.  It will be difficult as so many of them are welfare ingrained now for generations. Difficult, but not impossible.

I HAD MORE TO SAY, BUT THIS POST IS LONG ENOUGH ALREADY, SO WILL END IT HERE AND SEE IF I CHOSE TO CONTINUE IN THIS TREND.

SOME RECENT OBSERVATIONS AND THOUGHTS

DOLLAR STORES: Have you ever shopped at a dollar store. By whatever name it may go by. Dollar store; dollar general, Family dollar and whatever else they have out there. We thought to shop at one we have here in our area and see what we could save as compared to Wal- Mart. There is no comparison. Literally. The prices are comparable, kinda, but the packaging is different. Sizes are different, and it is difficult to determine if you are saving any thing at the dollar stores or not. I am thinking not, really.  Just my opinion.

I read an article the other day that said Stormy Daniels was standing tough against Trump. OK.So lets look at that for a moment. A moment is all it is worth. Stormy Daniels is a porn star and a prostitute. That is her profession. If Trump had a fling with her, and I have no reason to believe otherwise, then she just sold her self to him as she did to others. For monetary gain. Years before he was even a candidate for President. While he is not a moral person, why is he so vilified for something he did with a professional woman and Bill Clinton is so protected for doing even worse while in office. The news report's of the time this story "broke" said Stormy was out of the business and married and training horses in Texas. That being so, why was she arrested a short time later in a night club for doing exactly what she professes to do. Being a porn star. She claims she was set up. No, if she was out of the business she wouldn't have been in the club doing what she was doing.  Nuff said.

I don't care what your opinion of John McCain is, whether you consider him a hero or just a politician, the hours and hours and hours of funeral coverage in Arizona and D.C. was a little overboard.
The same opinion for  Areatha Franklin.  I mean, really, TV networks, enough is enough.  And an 8 hour funeral, most of it covered by the net works when they were not showing John McCain was just over kill. Pun not intended.

One final rant.  Why do people, police officers included, feel that speed limit signs, red lights and stop signs and double yellow lines on the highway are just there for someone else.  Like us, I guess.  We are nearly run over or into almost every day when we leave the house in a car. At least on a walk we can get out of the way on a side walk.  So far, any way.

SOME OPINIONS AND OBSERVATIONS

SOME THINGS I HAVE OPINIONS ON.
1. Leaf blowers. they should be outlawed. They serve no useful purpose except to blow trash from your yard into the street or someone else's yard or back into your yard if the winds are blowing that way.
2. Toll Roads, vs. Freeways. Our roads are falling apart. I, for one, would be willing to pay a small fee to have roads in better condition, only, of course, if there was a guarantee that these funds would be used for maintenance.
3. Noise.  In nearly every town or city of any size you will see a sign as you get to the city limits, engine brake restricted on not allowed. Or some wording like that. For those who aren't aware, that means that a big rig driver can't use his jake brake when he is in city limits. I will listen to that brake all day long as it means the truck is stopping. It is a much better sound than the people in cars driving around with those huge sound systems in their cars and jacked up so loud that they over power even the truck brakes.
4. In a previous post probably a couple of years ago, I commented that I was against Hillary for among other reasons, she wanted to get rid of the 2nd amendment or at the least rewrite it. I shuddered at that thought.  NOW, I shudder again as a group of Republican's want to give Trump the power to suppress or rewrite a portion of the 1st amendment, limiting or suppressing the right  of freedom of the press.
Can I just say that Washington, D.C. and the politicians therein make me ill.  I'm glad sometimes that I am old.

A FEW THINGS I HAVE READ

AND SOME I MADE UP.  I recently read these items in a local monthly paper on how to tell if you are a Southern New Mexican.  Here are a few of them that I liked.  You are a true Southern New Mexican when:
1. You stop asking   Which one is hotter Red or Green
2. You know The largest lake, Elephant Butte, the largest river, Rio Grande, the largest beach, white sands are mostly water free.
3. When you start every restaurant meal with 40 chips and a pint of Salsa.  and
4. You start every meal at home with 40 chips and a pint of Salsa.
5. You can drive from Deming to the air port in El Paso in less time that a Southern Californian can drive 15 miles to LAX.
6. You have conversations with both English and Spanish words.
7. You run out of green chilies in July and have to eat out for a month until roasting season starts.
And an observation, or two
1. New Mexico is mostly dry, and you always appreciate the rain, but you really wouldn't move somewhere else where it rain more.

And finally, You know a Sanitary landfill is just a garbage dump, and that it is definitely not sanitary.

I'M GETTING BETTER

I SAY THAT BECAUSE IT HAS ONLY BEEN A MONTH THIS TIME since I last posted.  Today will be a short post about a few things that pertain to me. I will try to stay away from a political rant.  I will try. We will see by the end of the post how successful I was.

1. Earlies this week my wife and I went to a city away from here for me to see a Dr. A dermatologist. After that visit, where he got a chunk of hide or four, we did a little shopping. as we were leaving the parking lot of the mall, we were in the exit and well exiting and a lady was on her way in. She was on a cell phone and nearly hit us head on cause she was entering the exit lane. Come on people, put down your phone and drive. Pay attention. The life you save may be mine.

2. We have a lot of Apricots on our tree.  Well, we had. We ate a lot. Gave a lot to neighbors and some to the tech's at the dialysis center.  We had 4 people say they wanted to come get some, but only one actually did.  Now, with the wind blowing them off the tree and birds eating on them, most of them are gone. A lot were wasted and we hat that, but people, if you want them, you have to come get them when they are ready. Time and Apricots wait for no one.

3. This year has been extremely hot and dry. While we are getting a little tired of the wind, actually while it is drying out the land even more, it is helping to keep the heat down to the high 90's level.  It takes an awful lot of water to keep the fruit trees alive, but we are trying.

4. The local community, of which we are a suburb, kinda, has been debating the possibility of authorizing off road vehicles, AKA, side by sides, to be on city streets. As in legalizing them. Man, that will be a disaster if that happens. The people here are already speeding and running stop lights and signs. I can hardly wait to see what happens when we have off road vehicles speeding around the city streets.

5. Finally I finish with a political rant.  I live in a "Covenant Community" AKA  a homeowners association. I really dislike these type of associations. They have the right to govern with out representation. If you don't live in one of these and someone suggests starting one, just slap them silly until they change their mind.  We got a letter that we needed to paint our trim and gable ends by the end of August.  I applied for a medical waiver for a time, but they have not chosen to answer me yet.  Will wait and see what they say. What ever it is, it won't be good. It doesn't matter how bad you may or may not think the federal government or your State or Local government is, homeowners associations are worse than that.

MORE OBSERVATIONS

THE LONGER I LIVE AND THE MORE I OBSERVE THE HUMAN RACE, the more I wonder just how long things like this can go on.  And then I read the Bible and the things that went on with Sodom and Gomorrah and the Tower of Babel and I realize we still have a ways to go before we are struck down.  And then I observe the human race again and think, Maybe we don't really have that far to go after all.
Now, after that gloomy statement, I have to say I am really not that pessimistic. I know the world is sliding down, but there are a lot, and I mean a LOT of really good people around. In many countries.  In fact in most countries. I have observed the kindness of people as I went through an illness over the winter.  I observe the kindness in people as I watch the news, local and national and international. Now I will make a statement or two about things I have observed on a more personal level.
After saying what I did in the above statement about the news, I will say I really don't trust the news media. For the most part they are very biased, even though they would and will deny that.  As I said before, Donald Trump was not my choice for President. But he was elected President by the people. Not by the Russians but by the people.  So I would like to see some news reports on the things he is doing that are good, instead of looking and digging into his past for things that were bad.  Is he a good person. I really don't know.  He is brash and his language is not good.  Well, many past Presidents language was the same, they just controlled it more when in the public eye and in front of a Hot Mic.  OK  Nuff about Trump and the news for now.
Now a little about the local politics.  We have had a Republican governor for the past 8 years. She has done her best to keep the State budget in check and balanced without raising taxes. It has been a fight with the State legislature mostly Democrats, who mostly fight her and forget the people of the State.  Now we are in an election year. One lone republican is running for Governor. His ads focus on what he wants to do for the State and the people and he tells how he wants to do it.  There are 6 Democrats fighting it out to get elected for their party in the Primary election. One of them, not my choice, is saying what she wants to do for the people and the State.  The other 5 are blasting her and and blasting Trump and the NRA. None of the other 5 have any thing to say what they want to do for the people.  Well, they do. They want to raise taxes, raid the emergency fund and use if for their programs. They want to fund pre kindergarten and a lot of other things with this extra money.  One woman wants to legalize marijuana to raise funds for the State, pointing to Colorado who has a legal marijuana program and is raining money that way.  She fails to mention all the problems that has risen in Colorado because of it.  Problems we don't need here.
Well, guess I have ranted enough. Have a good day and a good week and how ever many more days or weeks until the next post.

I'M BACK

WOW,  IT'S BEEN NEARLY SEVEN MONTHS since I put up a new post. There is a reason for that, but I won't go into most of it, as most of any one who reads this already knows why. So I will make a few observations her of what I learned while I was "away".

1. Doctors don't know every thing.  Most of them will admit that they don't. The few who refuse to admit that can hurt your health before they finally determine what needs to be done.

2. Most nurses know more than they are given credit for and they do have the patients welfare as a main concern.

3. Some hospitals are ran better than others, even though the medical personal do the best they can.

4. Our local hospital is County owned and has went through 3 or 4 administrators in the last 2 years. They have went from deep in the red to maybe finally getting into the black. The County commissioners are looking into selling it to a for profit company.  In spite of the turmoil, the emergency room Dr's. and Nurses do an excellent job of caring for the people that enter there.

5.  Nuff said for that.  A little comment on the current political situation.  More of that to come.
I have said in the past, but will mention it again here.  Trump was not my pick for President. I did, and do, prefer him over Hillary.  More about that later.  For now I want to mention this then I will stop for the day.  We have several people running for Governor of our State.  Our current governor has timed out and can't run again.  We have one Republican running and a slew of Democrats.  The Republican in his ads has only things to say about what he wants to do for the State. While I am not sure about the front runner for the Democrats, she too has things to say about what she wants to do for the State.  The rest of the Democrats have nothing to say about the State. Their ads, as well as the ads for those running for Congress or even other state Offices, focus on three things. Impeach or Stop Trump, get rid of the NRA, and stop Trumps wall.  I find it odd that they or the media refuse to mention that the wall was actually started under the Obama administration, and most if not all that has been built was done so then.
